About The Position

This position is responsible for building relationships and developing plans to increase sales and profitability for targeted national accounts. The role involves driving sales by creating, executing, and communicating business plans to grow sales for the organization. A significant aspect of this role requires the operation of a Personal Vehicle, consistently used more than 20% of the average work week. If selected, the company will conduct a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report, and an acceptable MVR is a requirement for the position.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the specified states (Southeast region).
  • Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the Southeast region and other customer locations as needed.
  • 5+ years of successful Business-to-Business (B2B) field sales experience.
  • Proven success developing strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth, customer retention, and long-term partnerships.
  • Strong consultative selling and solution-selling skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and deliver strategic business solutions.
  • Experience negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and complex sales opportunities.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals while managing a remote territory.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing large portfolios of products, programs, or services across multiple customer locations.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, and related sales technologies.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Passion for building relationships with customers, teammates, and business partners.
  • Operation of a Personal Vehicle is required, consistently used more than 20% of the average work week.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates residing in Georgia, Florida, Texas, or other Southeast markets are preferred.
  • Healthcare, healthcare housing, senior living, hospitality, facilities maintenance, MRO, or related industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains business relationships.
  • Strategically plans customer visits to cultivate relationships, perform presentations, offer innovative programs, and communicate plans.
  • Researches, develops, and acquires account opportunities.
  • Effectively communicates competitive strengths and develops strategy to acquire competitive business.
  • Develops and executes profitable business plans for managing existing and newly acquired accounts and implements those plans effectively.
  • Negotiates national contracts and rebate programs consistent with industry management goals.
  • Teams with individuals within sales and other key corporate personnel to communicate account plans, pricing, and offer assistance to drive sales.
  • Participates in local and national trade associations and conferences.
  • Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem-solving skills to deal creatively with complex situations.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
  • Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
  • Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the expected results.
  • Determines and develops an approach to solutions.
  • Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
  • May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc.
