About The Position

Energizer is seeking a high-impact National Account Manager to lead the Amazon Batteries business, with full ownership of strategy, P&L performance, forecasting accuracy, and end-to-end execution across the Amazon ecosystem. Reporting to the Sr. National Account Manager, Amazon North America, this role serves as the single point of accountability for one of Energizer’s largest and most strategic businesses. The National Account Manager is responsible for delivering sustainable, profitable growth by optimizing trade investment, accelerating topline performance, strengthening Amazon partnership outcomes, and ensuring operational excellence across the business. The ideal candidate leverages data to inform decisions, influences cross-functional teams, and balances strategic thinking with disciplined execution to deliver both near-term results and long-term value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience managing Amazon or eCommerce businesses with direct P&L ownership
  • Proven success growing mature, complex businesses through strategic planning and commercial execution
  • Deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem (Vendor Central, Retail Analytics, media, content, and search)
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, trade investment optimization, and margin management
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Media, and Operations
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proactively identifies issues and drives solutions independently
  • Experience managing Amazon media (DSP, Sponsored Ads)
  • Advanced Power BI, Excel, and data visualization capabilities
  • Experience with Profitero or similar competitive intelligence platforms
  • Strong negotiation experience, including AVNs, customer agreements, and promotional planning
  • Experience managing mature, high-volume categories where sustainable growth requires strategic innovation rather than incremental distribution gains
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to navigate cross-functional complexity, align stakeholders, and drive outcomes across matrixed teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly Amazon business plans
  • Drive assortment strategy, item lifecycle management, and new product launches
  • Optimize pricing strategy and monitor competitive dynamics
  • Own customer forecasting and partner with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to deliver industry-leading forecast accuracy while mitigating supply risk and preventing out-of-stocks
  • Leverage internal (Profitero, Power BI) and external (Vendor Central, Amazon Retail Analytics) tools to generate insights and optimize performance
  • Communicate actionable recommendations to senior leadership
  • Proactively identify business risks and growth opportunities and develop action plans
