About The Position

The National Account Manager for BJ’s serves as the primary Clorox business lead and customer partner for BJ’s Wholesale Club. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth, developing customer strategies, and leading the execution of joint business plans across key categories. As the primary point of contact for the customer, the National Account Manager leverages category expertise, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration to identify growth opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver mutual business objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Experience in Field Sales, Customer Development, Account Management, or related commercial roles.
  • Sales Planning and/or Customer Business Planning experience preferred.
  • Strong category management and customer expertise.
  • Consultative and solution-based selling.
  • Customer Business Planning, forecasting, and planning tools (e.g., Exceedra).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across a matrixed organization.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable navigating change.
  • Enterprise mindset with a focus on delivering sustainable business results.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver strategic, omni-channel plans.
  • Work to influence and lead cross-functionally with the BU, Category, Shopper, Finance, and Supply Chain partners to deliver results.
  • Utilize data and analytics to forecast demand.
  • Effectively manage the financial checkbook for each category.
  • Leads execution of volume, net sales, AMPS and profit objectives for assigned Categories at BJ’s
  • Enables profitable growth for each category by leading and developing strategic omni-plans and provides clear direction for the customer/cross-functional teams.
  • Understands and drives Business planning process for assigned Categories at BJ’s.
  • Delivers Joint Business Plans for assigned Categories at BJ’s that achieve results and are within trade budget.
  • Facilitates connection between Customer team, cross-functional resources and category counterparts.
