About The Position

The DRiV business group focuses on aftermarket product solutions, aiming to enhance every vehicle experience. This National Account Manager role is within the DRiV group and is responsible for business development and sales with assigned customers, requiring a customer-centric approach, relationship-building skills, and a growth mindset.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account development and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Strong ability to adapt messaging and value proposition to match customer needs.
  • Deep understanding of pipeline management and creating detailed revenue forecasts.
  • Ability to develop lasting customer relationships.
  • Basic negotiating skills and ability to close business.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand products, price points, and key differentiators from competitors.
  • Recognizes industry trends and the business environment.
  • Ability to perform cost analysis and margin reports.
  • Strong digital ability.
  • Demonstrates the capability to draw conclusions and interpret trends from business data.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure goals are met on time and within budget.
  • Possess and maintain a valid unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in heavy duty/ commercial vehicle aftermarket.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate the company's value proposition to all stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Understand customer feedback, buyer needs, and purchasing behaviors to identify revenue growth opportunities within new and existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for short-term and long-term growth.
  • Understand all product lines, services, and policies related to terms and conditions of sale, including pricing, discounts, returns, credits, and warranty.
  • Tailor the value proposition message for product and service offerings based on customer needs.
  • Gain a strong understanding of existing customers' needs while maintaining high visibility to potential market growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure an optimal customer experience.
  • Complete mandatory reporting in a timely manner.
  • Exercise good judgment in the commitment and spending of company funds.
  • Develop and maintain strong working and personal relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
