WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR National Account Manager The National Account Manager maintains, grows, and expands relationships with key customer groups, including corporate veterinary groups, multi-site locations, franchises, Group Purchasing Organizations, and membership associations. This role executes a high level of communication and collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to achieve sales quotas and strategic objectives with assigned clients, while contributing to the development and delivery of Vetsource services. The National Account Manager looks for synergies and opportunities to collaborate across Vetsource customer channels. This is a full-time, remote position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience/training.
  • 5+ years of experience in direct B2B sales within the animal health industry or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with veterinary groups and manufacturers.
  • Demonstrated success in building, managing, and strengthening long-term customer and partner relationships.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipelines, track account activity, and generate insights.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with key decision makers and act as a primary point of contact to achieve sales quotas and strategic objectives with assigned customers, prioritizing proactive partners as defined and updated in our strategy as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts at major manufacturer partners.
  • Proactively explore strategies and tactics to further integrate with the customers and leverage the full suite of Vetsource solutions.
  • Represent Vetsource in a professional manner that results in a positive customer experience.
  • Regularly meet with customers to ensure needs are being met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships with internal partners to ensure positive partner experiences and successful delivery of client products/services, including the coordination of key manufacturer meetings requesting Category Management support as needed.
  • Remain up to date on industry trends to strategize with partners.
