About The Position

As a National Account Manager, you’ll be part of our Tools and Outdoor team working as a virtual employee. You’ll get to execute distributor show events, manage sales growth plans & execute new product launches. Flawlessly execute category sales plans for all assigned brands and product categories (i.e., DeWALT, Irwin, Stanley, to name a few), achieve weekly, quarterly & yearly sales goals. Develop strong relationships with key account personnel. Work effectively with your manager on a weekly/monthly basis. Complete all communication requirements with accounts timely and effectively. Working with wholesaler accounts to find new and creative ways to win the wall and increase sales. Become the liaison between retail stores, wholesaler accounts & our channel marketing team. Ensure standards are met to maintain strong brand presence. Work with buyers to promote and expand brand exposure. Become a product knowledge expert.

Requirements

  • College or University degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, or relevant area of study
  • 2-3 Years retail and/or wholesale sales experience
  • Experience with retail events, product demonstration, new product launches
  • Ability to develop, forecast and launch aggressive promotional strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as in a group to achieve team goals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Clean Drivers Abstract required.
  • Ability to travel 30-35%
  • Ecommerce experience required.
