In this strategic role within the organisation, your prime remit will be to develop, manage and build relationships with a select number of major customer groups within one of our Business Channels in order to ensure continuous sales growth, enhanced profitability and strategic business development of the company. Reporting to one of our Head of Channel, you will assume full P&L responsibility for the customer groups assigned to you. You will, through effective business planning processes, identify appropriate initiatives in the areas of channel planning, promotional strategies and account profitability modelling, in order to add mutual value to the relationships with these key customers. With broad experience gained from an Account Management or similar role within a blue-chip FMCG environment, you will be able to demonstrate a highly progressive sales career coupled with experience of developing and implementing channel strategies. In addition, your skills in initiating, developing and leading contemporary "best practice" sales techniques for Account, Channel and Category Management will be proven and immediately apparent. Because of the demanding nature of this role the successful candidate will need to have the ability to effectively influence at all levels and have the demonstrable drive, enthusiasm and capability to achieve the high expectations demanded of the role.
