About The Position

A warm and growing family on the Upper West Side is seeking an experienced and engaging weekend nanny to care for their sweet 3-year-old daughter. Mom is an artist and is looking for someone who is flexible, nurturing, and excited to become a valued part of their family. The ideal candidate enjoys working with preschool-aged children, is proactive, and is comfortable traveling. The family is happy to guarantee 25 hours each weekend for the right candidate. The nanny should be available to travel with the family to Washington, D.C., one weekend per month. Overnight fees will be provided for all travel. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dependable, energetic, and travel-ready nanny who is looking for a consistent long-term weekend position with a kind and creative family.

Availability for both domestic and international travel as needed.
Ability to work collaboratively with other household staff, including a full-time nanny and a housekeeper.
Willingness to live in while accompanying the family to their second home in Washington, DC (approximately once per month) and their Florida residence (2–3 times per year).
Commitment to a long-term position, with the goal of supporting the family through the children's high school years. Candidates should be prepared to make a lasting commitment to the role.

Responsibilities

Work with Mom to coordinate weekend plans and fun for a 3 year old girl
Manage daily routines including meals, naps, activities, bath time, and bedtime preparation.
Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities that support learning, exploration, creativity, and physical development.
Facilitate outings to parks, playgrounds, libraries, community activities, and seasonal attractions.
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child.
Maintain children's laundry, bedrooms, play areas, and supplies.
Assist with grocery shopping and child-related errands as needed.
Collaborate closely with the weekday nanny to maintain consistency in routines, expectations, and developmental goals.
Support a clean, organized, and well-functioning household environment throughout the weekend.
Travel to DC once a month for the weekend
