A warm and welcoming family on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking a calm, experienced, and nurturing full-time live-out nanny to care for their two young children, ages 4 and 1. The ideal candidate is thoughtful, responsible, punctual, and brings a warm, patient approach to childcare. The family is looking for someone who can confidently care for two young children simultaneously while fostering creativity, independence, and age-appropriate development.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience
Experience caring for multiple young children simultaneously
Strong, verifiable childcare references
Calm, patient approach to toddler behaviors and tantrums
Comfortable working closely with a hands-on father
Genuinely enjoys engaging with children through play, learning, and outdoor activities
CPR Certified
Fully vaccinated
Punctual and dependable
Non-smoker
Comfortable working in a home with two cats
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be comfortable in a no-screen household

Nice To Haves

Willing to travel occasionally with the family for short stays in the Hamptons during the summer

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, loving care for two children (ages 4 and 1)
School drop-off and pick-up for the older child
Escort the children to classes, activities, and playdates
Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities and enrichment
Organize playdates and outings
Prepare simple vegetarian/pescatarian meals for the children
Feed the children and maintain their daily routines
Foster a fun, educational, and completely screen-free environment
Communicate regularly with the children's father regarding schedules and daily updates
