Full Time / Part Time Nanny
About The Position
Jovie is seeking engaging, creative, fun, and flexible individuals to join their on-call team as a back-up nanny. This role is ideal for those with previous experience as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer, or retired teachers seeking a less demanding environment. The position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance work with school, family, or other part-time commitments. As a back-up nanny, you will provide in-home care for children ranging from infants to toddlers, with the highest demand for care for children under the age of 2. Your responsibilities will include ensuring child safety and leading hands-on activities based on the children's age-appropriate development. No transportation of children or extensive household duties are required, only common-sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, paid or unpaid
- Infant experience mandatory
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
- Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
- Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor

Responsibilities
- Care for children in-home
- No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
- Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers
- Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development
