Full Time / Part Time Nanny
About The Position
Jovie is seeking engaging, creative, fun, and flexible nannies to join their on-call team. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in childcare, such as babysitting, daycare work, nannying, or church nursery volunteering. It's also suitable for retired teachers or teaching professionals looking for a less demanding environment than a classroom. The position offers a flexible schedule, accommodating school, family, or other part-time commitments. As a back-up nanny, you will provide in-home care for children ranging from infants to toddlers, with the highest demand for those under two years old. Your responsibilities will include ensuring child safety and leading hands-on, age-appropriate activities based on your observations of the children's development. No household duties beyond cleaning up after your activities or meals with the child are required, and you will not be expected to transport children.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, paid or unpaid
- Infant experience mandatory
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
- Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
- Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor
- A bright smile to greet each family
