About The Position
A family in Collegeville, PA is seeking a reliable, organized, and engaging part-time nanny to provide childcare support for their three children, ages 15, 12, and 9, during the summer months. The family is looking for someone who can provide dependable transportation to and from summer activities while creating a safe and supportive environment for their children. The position includes summer care through August 21, 2026, with potential for ongoing care starting September 14, 2026. This is a private, family-hired position.
Requirements
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable providing transportation for children (driving distances typically range from 3–12 miles or 10–30 minutes)
- Dependable, organized, and punctual
- Comfortable managing multiple children and changing schedules
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and reliable care for three school aged children
- Safely transport children to and from summer camps, activities, and appointments as needed
- Manage varying schedules and activity locations throughout the week
- Provide a positive and supportive environment for the children
- Assist with light household tasks and/or dinner preparation as a secondary responsibility
- Communicate effectively with the family regarding schedules and transportation needs
