About The Position

This is a full-time nanny position for a family in Sewickley, PA, seeking a warm, playful, and reliable individual to care for their 9-month-old child. The role involves creating a fun and nurturing environment, engaging the child in age-appropriate activities, and becoming a trusted part of the child's life. The family works from home and values initiative, communication, and a genuine enjoyment of building relationships. Requirements

• Previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
• Must have a driver's license.
• Must have a vehicle.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Experience with babies.
• Understanding of child development.
• Warm, nurturing, playful, and relational demeanor.
• Common sense and reliability.
• Initiative, organization, patience, and good judgment.
• Genuine enjoyment of building relationships with families.
• Comfortable with a very friendly Golden Retriever.

Responsibilities

• Engage the child in age-appropriate activities such as reading books, playing music, dancing, playing on the floor, going for walks, attending library story times, and arranging playdates.
• Support the child's development, including encouraging first steps and introducing new experiences.
• Manage children's laundry, parent laundry, bottles, and general tidying of the child's spaces.
• Prepare the child's meals as they grow.
• Monitor and manage baby supplies, informing the family when items are running low.
• Perform occasional errands.
• Maintain the organization of the child's play areas.
• Handle light tidying to maintain household order.
• Provide occasional pet care for a Golden Retriever, such as trips outside or refilling the water bowl.
• Communicate effectively with the parents regarding the child's needs and household supplies.
