Full Time / Part Time Nanny
About The Position
Jovie is seeking engaging, creative, fun, and flexible individuals to join their on-call team as a back-up nanny. This role is ideal for those with previous experience as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer, as well as retired teachers. The position offers a flexible schedule that can accommodate school, family, or other part-time commitments. Nannies will care for children in various homes, focusing on infants through toddlers, with the highest demand for care for children under the age of 2. Responsibilities include ensuring child safety, leading hands-on activities based on developmental observations, and performing common-sense clean-up related to activities and meals. No household duties or child transportation are required.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, paid or unpaid
- Infant experience mandatory
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
- Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
- Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor
