British American Household StaffingAustin, TX
Hybrid

About The Position

A kind and loving family is seeking a full-time live-in or live-out nanny to join their family, caring for their 20-month-old and eventually their second child due in September. The position will begin as soon as the ideal candidate is found. When in Austin at their home base, the general schedule will be Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed. The typical schedule will be 7:30 am-5:30 pm with some flexibility, especially during times one parent travels. They travel throughout the year, including up to 1 month internationally in the summer. The parents hope to find a nurturing nanny who can engage their children in developmentally appropriate, fun, and educational activities. Their ideal nanny is loving, calm, confident, reliable, and capable. This is an active, outdoorsy household that values good food, good humor, and an organized, calm home. This is a childcare-led hybrid role: roughly 85% childcare, 15% household. The ideal candidate is the loving, capable, operational heart of the home.
