About The Position
A warm, active family of six living on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels is seeking a full-time Live-In Nanny / House Manager to become a long-term part of their household. Mom is a dentist who owns her own practice, and Dad owns several businesses and works from home regularly. Their four children are ages 14, 11, 8, and 6. The family has two small dogs and a wonderful history of long-term live-in nannies. They are hoping to find their next great fit. Christian faith is important to this family, and they are looking for someone whose values align well with theirs. They love sports, entertaining, spending time together, and eating well. Healthy living and wholesome, nutritious food are a priority in this household, and they would love someone who genuinely enjoys meal planning and cooking for kids. This is a hybrid role split roughly evenly between childcare and household management.
Requirements
- BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
- UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
- THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
- A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
- 5+ YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
- EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
- U.S. DRIVER’S LICENSE (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NYC RESIDENTS)
- MUST BE A COMPETENT SWIMMER (IF AND WHEN REQUIRED)
