About The Position

This is a full-time nanny position for a family with three young children (a 3-year-old, a 9-month-old, and a baby due in November). The family lives on a hobby farm and has two cats and one dog. The role involves childcare and household support, with the goal of helping life run smoothly. The parents work from home part of the time and are collaborative and respectful of the nanny's role. This is a long-term opportunity with a family that values their nanny and seeks a partner to grow with them.

Previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years

Responsibilities

Creating engaging, active, and grounded days for the children.
Getting outside often and planning simple outings (local parks, library days, museums, zoo).
Reading books and helping children feel secure, stimulated, and cared for.
Being hands-on and fully engaged, building connection in everyday moments.
Thoughtfully weaving developmental learning into everyday play.
Providing a hybrid of childcare and household support.
Assisting with meal prep, dishes, laundry, tidying, and organizing.
Taking initiative to help keep life running smoothly.
Occasionally collecting eggs with the children (optional).
Implementing established routines and rhythms with consistency.
Communicating openly, honestly, and directly with the family.
Participating in informal weekly check-ins and monthly conversations.
Keeping parents looped in on the children's activities and well-being.
Keeping pace with an energetic toddler and engaging in outdoor play.
