About The Position
A busy family in Raymond, ME is seeking a reliable, warm, and highly organized Part Time Nanny to assist with childcare and household support. With dad traveling frequently for work, mom needs a dependable partner to help manage the week, transport kids to activities, and keep the home running smoothly. The children are ages 5 and 7.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with multiple preschool and/or school-age siblings
- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, clean driving record, and comfort driving children in all reasonable Maine weather conditions
- Demonstrated house management skills with the ability to self-direct and prioritize tasks independently
- Ability to work in a home with dogs
- Applicants cannot bring their own children to work for this position
Nice To Haves
- Located in or within an easy commute of the Lakes Region (Raymond, Windham, Casco, Naples, Bridgton, Gray, etc.)
- Willingness to provide overnight coverage 2–3 times per year or occasionally travel with the family (optional bonus, not required)
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging childcare, including planning age-appropriate activities and spending active quality time with the children
- Assist with pick-ups and drop-offs for children's activities
- Maintain routines, manage schedules, and enforce clear boundaries for the children
- Perform house management tasks during non-childcare hours, including laundry (washing, folding, putting away), light cleaning, organizing, and running household errands
