Nanny Manager for a Family Near Chastain Park
About The Position
A family near Chastain Park is seeking a nanny for three children, ages five, three, and 15 months. The ideal candidate is fun, creative, confident, calm, patient, and proactive, and enjoys outdoor adventures, swimming, crafts, outdoor play, and helping children learn and grow. The family values good manners, respectful communication, consistent routines, and gentle but consistent discipline. Sharing the family's Christian faith and enjoying reading Bible stories is preferred; French or German language skills are a plus. The role includes childcare, children's laundry, keeping bedrooms and play areas tidy, light housekeeping, running errands, and helping with meal preparation and cooking. The family has nine animals—five dogs and four cats—so the nanny must be comfortable around animals. A clean, reliable vehicle is required; the family provides car seats. The nanny must be open to traveling with the family several times a year, including a summer trip to Austria. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Compensation is $34–$39 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience.
- Be comfortable around animals, including five dogs and four cats.
