NASHVILLE FAMILY SEEKING NANNY/HOUSE MANAGER!!
About The Position
A warm, active family in the Belle Meade area of Nashville, TN is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSE MANAGER to support their 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. The children attend school full-time with after-school activities. This role is ideal for a proactive, positive candidate who thrives on structure and clear communication. Responsibilities include childcare, school drop-offs and pickups, driving to and from activities, snack and some meal prep, keeping children's essentials stocked, errands, and grocery shopping. The nanny will use the family's small SUV for transportation. The family prefers active engagement over screen time. The candidate should be a self-starter, comfortable taking initiative, and able to cover sick days. The schedule guarantees 40 hours per week, with core childcare hours and flexibility for house management tasks. Some family trips, including occasional international travel, will require the nanny's presence, necessitating a valid passport. Overnight stays with the children may be required when parents travel. Light dog care for a hypoallergenic dog is also part of the role, including occasional walks, feeding, and overnight dog care when the nanny stays with the children. Occasional house-sitting with the dog during family travel is a bonus.
Requirements
- Up-to-date vaccinations
- Positive, flexible demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
- Up-to-date First-Aid & CPR Certification (willingness to renew as needed)
- Ability to make a one-year commitment (unless applying for a temporary position)
- Passion for working with children
- 5+ years of childcare experience in any field
- Excellent work and personal references
- U.S. Driver’s License
- Competent swimmer (if and when required)
- Non-smoker
- Willingness to sign our no-cell phone driving signed guarantee
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to complete Stop the Silence training upon membership
- Valid passport
