A busy single parent in Minneapolis is seeking a proactive, grounded, and organized Nanny/Household Manager to help manage their pet-free home and tame the afternoon and evening chaos. The ideal candidate will help maintain the home and care for the children, embodying the motto: "see a need, fill a need." The family enjoys nature, hiking, paddle trips, and learning new things, and they need someone to be a reliable partner in keeping the household running smoothly.

Requirements

Proven background in childcare, nannying, or household management.
Exceptional boundary-setting abilities.
Reliability.
Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
Must have your own reliable vehicle.
Must have a clean driving record.
Up-to-date on COVID and flu vaccinations (preferred).

Responsibilities

Meet the 11-year-old daughter at the bus or school.
Provide transportation to therapy visits and activities for the 11-year-old.
Help the 11-year-old navigate ADHD features with executive function, self-regulation, and compassionate boundary setting.
Transport the 15-year-old to sporting practices.
Execute family meal preparation, including grocery shopping, chopping, and cooking based on provided recipes and meal plans.
Handle family laundry.
Perform light housekeeping.
Run errands.
Maintain overall home organization.
Provide occasional overnights (approx. 2 per month).
Work occasional later evenings (until approx. 9:00 PM, no more than once per week) for work travel.
