About The Position

The Spa Nail Tech is an experienced, dynamic individual who possesses a real passion and pride in their work. This role requires a flexible individual with excellent customer service skills, a passion for delivering outstanding client service, the ability to anticipate guest needs, and a caring, can-do attitude. A high standard of personal presentation is expected. The therapist must be capable of performing treatments to the highest standards. Dually licensed in Nails/Esthetics and/or Massage is a plus. The role involves performing other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager, working weekends, and being flexible with your schedule to support the needs of the spa. Responsibilities include proper care of equipment, using spa-recommended amounts of product for cost control, having complete knowledge of all services and products, educating and training guests, actively promoting home care programs, upholding sanitation and sterilization standards, performing prep work and restocking rooms, communicating occurrences to management, and actively promoting the spa, treatments, services, sessions, retail, programs, promotions, and discounts. The role also involves handling guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously, providing accurate and immediate responses to guest requests, and maintaining a fun and energetic attitude.

Requirements

  • Retail sales experience
  • Provide consistent professional nail services in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices
  • Basic verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of 2+ year experience working in a spa
  • Flexible schedule
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Regular and reliable attendance

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
  • Required to work weekends/Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa
  • Properly care for equipment and use spa recommended amounts of product to assist with cost controls
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas
  • Actively promote home care programs
  • Uphold the fundamentals of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
  • Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
  • Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
  • Always maintain a fun and energetic attitude
