About The Position

The NAC Delivery Specialist delivers batteries and provides exceptional customer service to National Account customers and dealers within their territory. The role involves managing dealer account activities, maintaining product displays and inventory, completing route transactions and paperwork, and handling company assets accurately. The specialist works independently with limited supervision and uses independent judgment in day-to-day decisions. Depending on location, one or more overnight routes per week may be required.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Excellent communication skills.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools, such as tablets and scanners.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to approach tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work overtime if requested.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet driver qualification requirements.
• Must have and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

• Previous delivery driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver batteries and provide service to National Account customers on the assigned route safely and on time.
• Load and unload trucks safely and maintain an accurate account of company assets.
• Keep displays and products clean, full, and rotated according to National Account agreements.
• Manage dealer accounts, including sales, consignment, warranties, rotations, cash collection, and invoicing.
• Complete delivery and route transactions and other paperwork in a timely manner.
• Interact professionally with team members, managers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Follow and fulfill driver program requirements as specified by the manager.
• Collect and return junk and used batteries to the warehouse.
• Perform other assigned duties, including delivering batteries to and servicing non-National Account customers.
