The MVPN and Outreach Supervisor provide direct clinical and administrative supervision to the Community Educator & Outreach Specialist, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Coordinator & Outreach Specialist, Military Veteran Peer Network (MVNP) Coordinator, and related positions. This position provides and oversees a team approach to community-based outreaches to increase community knowledge and awareness of LifePath Systems. Responsible for organizing, coordinating, and monitoring outreach activities for the Behavioral Health Division. This position serves as the expert for all outreaches, clinical questions presented by team, and will train, model, and oversee activities. This position is responsible for embracing partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders to ensure effective referrals and comprehensive network to meet the needs of individuals and families. This position will provide regular coaching to workforce as needed, ensuring outreach and statement of work standards are met. Supervision will consist of observation, check-ins, and regular discussion with team members on areas where additional guidance is needed. This position will increase community awareness by expanding the number of MHFA training sessions offered, increase training completion rates, and enhance participation among educators, community members, schools, and partner organizations. Will provide leadership and operational oversight to ensure program effectiveness, ensures that all requirements listed in the HHSC Mental Health First Aid Contract and the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) contracts are met in addition to the other responsibilities provided by the Program Administrator and/or director of behavioral health. Responsible for collecting, aggregating, and reporting all data to HHSC and TVC. Will develop and maintain relationships with other outreach workers, school districts, education service centers (ESC), and community stakeholders. Will develop and maintain a list of contacts and make regular outreach attempts with the goal of educating and scheduling meetings and/or trainings related to Behavioral Health services. Responsible for approving paid time off and bi-weekly timesheet approval of team members and works under the supervision of the Program Administrator of Diversion and Outreach. Will ensure effective communication regarding operations, performance, and other duties as assigned.
