Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Money handling experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Successful completion of six-hour mutuel training school in which operation of the wagering terminal is taught.
- Must pass a qualifying test which gauges knowledge of horse racing and wagering formats.
Responsibilities
- Accept wagers and pay winning tickets.
- Primary source for wagering information.
- Take wagers from customers, answer basic betting questions and pay winning tickets.
- Receive daily cash bankroll and verify; prepare cash for ‘skim’; close out cash bankroll and give money to Mutuel Representative.
- Obtain needed cash for completion of customer transaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
