Requirements

  • Choreography skills verified by training and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the production director to implement a cohesive performance.
  • Confirms student medical emergency authorization forms are up-to-date and readily available.
  • Designs sequences of motion and form that are age-appropriate and attainable for students.
  • Directs warm-ups and floor exercises.
  • Demonstrates performance routines.
  • Works with performers to perfect movements, techniques, and timing.
  • Adjusts routines as warranted.
  • Identifies work priorities to focus on tasks that require immediate attention.
  • Maintains orderly work/storage areas.
  • Prepares records as directed.
  • Complies with district records retention and disposal policies.
  • Prepares/restores shared program sites.
  • Works with the production staff to select music, set design, wardrobe, etc.
  • Consistently performs all aspects of the job.
  • Diligently pursues high quality results.
  • Develops mutually respectful relationships with co-workers.
  • Functions as part of a cohesive team.
  • Helps ensure the accuracy and privacy of confidential information.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Wears work attire appropriate for the position.
