About The Position
Ascension St Vincent Hospital is seeking a full-time Music Therapist for their Patient Support department in Indianapolis, IN. This role focuses on developing and implementing music therapy treatment plans to improve patient well-being.
Requirements
- Registered or Board Certified Music Therapist required.
- Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy required.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and establish music therapy treatment goals.
- Evaluate each patient's progress and the effectiveness of music therapy interventions.
- Coordinate therapeutic music activities for both large and small groups, observing patient response and encouraging socialization.
- Provide patients with information regarding resources and therapeutic music activities in the community.
