About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and dedicated educator to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes communicating with students and parents about goals and progress, coordinating lesson schedules with store teams, and helping students grow through musical instruction. Music & Arts handles administrative work so teachers can focus on teaching. The posted pay is $12.77 per hour for non-teaching work and $10–$23.00 per hour for teaching, depending on background and experience; actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, location, and other factors. The position offers musicians the opportunity to take gig leave to perform and return to work afterward.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• At least 8 years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities
