About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a Music Teacher to provide private music lessons and inspire students of varying ages and skill levels. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment, shares musical expertise to foster student growth, and communicates regularly with students and parents about goals and progress. The teacher partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
