About The Position
Guitar Center, with over 300 stores nationwide, is dedicated to fostering creativity and music by empowering both customers and employees to discover their unique sound. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for instructing students in music lessons following the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. Your role will involve increasing student enrollment, ensuring each student progresses, develops, and enjoys playing music, all while upholding our core values of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect. Requirements
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or teaching music lessons
- Ability to teach the instrument that they are proficient in such as Guitar and Vocals.
- Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching

Responsibilities
- Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum
- Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based off the needs of the community
- Assist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience
- Partner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and embracing the knowledge parents have as their child's Music Teacher
- Communicate with students and/or parents of students on progress of each student
- Share students and/or parents’ goals and progress frequently
- Additional duties as assigned
