About The Position

This position's primary responsibility is to assist the Music Marketing Manager with the day-to-day and long-term operations of the music marketing area. Venues include, but are not limited to: Crystal Ballroom, Spanish Ballroom, Mission Theater, White Eagle.

Requirements

  • Experience in the music industry or related field
  • Experience with email marketing tools (MailChimp, Hive, Cymbal, etc.)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Photoshop and multimedia management software
  • Copywriting experience
  • Ability to work well both remotely and in a team environment
  • Build Campaign shells
  • Build audiences (interests, retargeting)
  • Install audiences into ad set shells
  • Build ads
  • Facebook event building
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics a plus
  • Computer skills in Word, Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Meta marketing a plus (RHP handling paid, social team handling organic, so this not required)
  • Experience with AI tools a plus
  • Experience or degree in marketing or related area a plus
  • Knowledge of delivery services a plus

Responsibilities

  • Researching upcoming artists, including affinities, demographics, social media metrics, etc.
  • Web research
  • Using marketing tools on Etix, Hive and other partner platforms
  • Communicating with artist teams, community partners and internal team
  • Email and SMS marketing (including assembling distribution lists, building content, and executing dedicated, calendar and genre-based deliverables)
  • Overseeing and occasionally executing Meta paid and organic executions, basic graphic editing
  • Overseeing creation of calendar creative (print ads, venue calendars, slideshows, etc.)
  • Building ad plans
  • Running comprehensive marketing campaigns on select shows
  • Managing tasks related to campaign lifecycles
  • Managing and tracking ticket giveaways
  • Administrative tasks such as coding invoices, populating online calendars, monitoring ticket sales, etc
  • Poster printing and logistics
  • Creating Google Analytic reports
  • Managing artist assets
  • Writing copy
  • Scheduling and trafficking content between graphic designers and venues, partners and outlets
  • Attending meetings
  • Communicating with vendors, reps, customers, department heads and DMs as needed
  • Occasional travel to other McMenamins locations for meetings or events
  • Work independently and with a team
