About The Position

This full-time position in the Music Department requires applying knowledge of music items and videos to buying, processing, and selling such products, continuously incorporating positive customer-focused strategies. The role involves evaluating merchandise, explaining and negotiating deals with customers, and utilizing reference materials. A general knowledge of products sold at Bookmans and store layout is also expected. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Superior knowledge in buying, processing, and selling music.
• Superior knowledge of music & video formats, grading standards, and collecting trends.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with motivation to serve the public.
• Ability to use reference materials.
• General knowledge of products sold at Bookmans.
• Knowledge of store sections and layout.
• Open availability on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
• Ability to work five shifts per week.
