About The Position

This job is only available to students who qualify for Work-Study. Students will act as an assistant to Prof Jennifer Matsue with a special focus on the Global & Popular Musics program. This role involves maintaining on-line instrument catalogues, assisting with the design and maintenance of World Musics and Cultures forms and files, designing course and event posters, helping with guest artists and speakers, and running campus errands. Some heavy lifting may be required.

Requirements

  • Must qualify for Work-Study
  • Graphic design skills
  • Facility with google docs, sheets, and other related software
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently

  • Members of the Japanese Drumming ensemble encouraged to apply
