About The Position
St. John the Evangelist Parish is seeking a part-time cantor. The Cantor proclaims the Word through song and leads the sung responses of the congregation at Weekend liturgies, Holy Day Masses, Funerals, and Weddings.
Requirements
- Experience in a Catholic Church setting.
- Knowledge of traditional and contemporary Catholic Music.
Responsibilities
- Provide vocals for Liturgy music as directed by the Music Director.
- Attend rehearsals.
- Available for masses.
