Museum Guide (Part-Time)
About The Position
This part-time position involves greeting and interacting with museum visitors and groups, processing admission fees, and providing information about the museum, exhibits, programs, and satellite locations. The role requires providing excellent customer service while adhering to all policies and procedures, and processing merchandise transactions in the museum store, including helping to manage inventory. Additional responsibilities include answering telephone calls, providing tours of exhibitions, assisting as a facilitator in the Spark!Lab, and helping to maintain the physical appearance of the museum by keeping areas clean and organized.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience

Responsibilities
- Greeting and interacting with museum visitors and groups

- Helping to maintain the physical appearance of the museum by keeping areas clean and organized, and reporting any custodial needs to the appropriate personnel
Benefits
- Full pay range $16.97 – $23.93 per hour
