About The Position
Southwest Medical Imaging (SMIL) is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join its multispecialty practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. At least 80% of the work will be in musculoskeletal radiology. The role includes contributing to the growth of a high-volume orthopedic imaging service and performing image-guided MSK procedures. There are no mammography, nuclear medicine, or interventional radiology responsibilities. Shift assignments, call responsibilities, and vacation allotments are shared equally. A partnership track is offered, with additional shareholder opportunities in physician-owned SMIL Outpatient Imaging Centers. Internal moonlighting opportunities are available. The practice provides a locally managed, AI-enabled IT platform with 24/7 IT support and a dedicated communications team, including Radiologist Support Coordinators. PowerScribe, InteleRad, and Epic support workflow across reporting, imaging, and clinical systems. Compensation includes a base salary, productivity bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. The stated salary range is $500,000–$600,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus; final compensation may depend on education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. SMIL is a highly subspecialized radiology practice based in Scottsdale, with more than 70 radiologists. It owns and operates nearly 20 outpatient imaging centers in the Valley and serves a healthcare network of six hospitals. Requirements
- Musculoskeletal fellowship required.
- Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
- Licensed or able to obtain an Arizona medical license.
- Fellows and residents are welcome to apply.
