About The Position

Apex Waste Solutions is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Municipal Sales Representative to support the growth and retention of residential waste and recycling services within municipal, HOA, and residential communities. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Homeowners Associations (HOAs), municipal partners, property management companies, and residential customers while ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a passion for delivering waste management solutions that meet the needs of communities and residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of sales, account management, customer service, or related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with municipalities, HOAs, property management companies, or waste and recycling services.
  • Knowledge of the waste management, recycling, or environmental services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with HOA boards, property managers, municipal officials, and residential customers.
  • Identify and pursue new residential sales opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Conduct presentations and meetings with HOAs, municipalities, and community stakeholders regarding waste and recycling services.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, service agreements, and contract renewals.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure service expectations and contractual obligations are met.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, service concerns, and requests for information.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address issues to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Assist with implementation and onboarding of new residential communities and municipal accounts.
  • Participate in community events, HOA meetings, and municipal functions as a representative of Apex Waste Solutions.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline updates within the company CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer retention.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activities, and local market conditions.
