In this role, you will join our Atlantic Canada Infrastructure team in our Moncton, NB office, which offers a modern, vibrant, professional environment for collaboration! Our team continues to play a leading role in some of the region’s largest infrastructure projects, as well as collaborating with EXP team members across North America on some very large and challenging infrastructure projects in other jurisdictions.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent).
  • Relevant experience in the design and construction of municipal and transportation infrastructure (i.e. water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, roads, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Word, MS Excel and Autoturn; and
  • Strong work ethic and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall planning, design, and construction of a wide range of municipal and transportation infrastructure projects by:
  • Preparing engineering drawings for municipal and transportation projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Preparing plan, profile, grading, surface design for water, storm, and wastewater piping, and roadways design from concept to final.
  • Generating material quantities and cost estimates.
  • Preparing presentation graphics and report figures.
  • Ensuring that the projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
  • Understanding and adhering to EXP and client standards; and
  • Completing on-site inspections of civil projects.
