About The Position

Join us as a Civil Superintendent focused on municipal infrastructure - including water and wastewater treatment facilities, bridges, and other essential public works projects. As our Civil Superintendent, you’ll lead day-to-day construction activities, enforce safety and quality standards, and partner closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to drive projects across the finish line - on time, on budget, and with the craftsmanship our reputation depends on.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent for a general contractor on civil projects
  • Proven track record managing projects valued between $1m and $30M
  • Journeyman trade certification or equivalent field experience
  • Willingness to be hands-on in the field and to work occasional night shifts
  • Able and willing to travel and work across the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and Fraser Valley
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Municipal Infrastructure (water, wastewater, bridge, etc.) projects considered a strong asset
  • Technical diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
  • Gold Seal certification
  • NCSO

Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor project budget and forecasting to the individual phase code level and cost type for potential gains and losses
  • Provide leadership and direction for all project activities and tasks, ensuring project outcomes are delivered successfully and in compliance with all contracts and client needs
  • Ensure clear communication of project-specific roles and responsibilities for all site personnel. Provide regular and respectful feedback for all under your direction
  • Monitor company equipment and supplies to ensure the needed equipment is where it’s required.
  • Inspect tools and equipment and notify the Tools and Equipment Manager for service and repair as needed
  • Pitch in hands-on when needed, including night shifts or extended hours, to overcome challenges and meet critical milestones
