About The Position

Houston Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Municipal Engineer to support a variety of public infrastructure projects. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit
Aspirations to obtain PE licensure
Must be detail oriented, and self-motivated
Valid driver's license required with good driving record
Utilize effective written and oral communication skills to coordinate and collaborate with coworkers, contractors, and the community

Responsibilities

Completing designs using CADD modeling software
Preparing spreadsheets and construction plans and specifications
Completing site development designs
Performing construction cost estimating, construction observation, and facility inspection for a variety of civil engineering projects
Digital design of storm, sanitary, and water utilities in addition to street and site plan development
Prepare studies, reports, design documents, and design plans and specifications for civil and municipal water infrastructure projects
Complete engineering analysis and calculations
Observe and document construction projects
Coordinate planning, design, and construction with clients, sub-consultants, and regulatory agencies
