About The Position

The Municipal Court Specialist is responsible for producing clear, complete, and logical reports, letters, memoranda, legal documents, and etc. This role involves analyzing, appraising, and organizing facts, evidence, and precedents, and preparing written recommendations and/or opinions. The specialist will perform legal research and analysis, monitor and manage open case inventory, and communicate with attorneys, parties, agency representatives, and other departments and staff at the instruction of the Judge. Jackson County is described as a wonderful place to work, with associates filling a vast array of positions, all part of one team with a common goal of serving the citizens of Jackson County.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • One (1) year of general clerical experience
  • Typing ability of 30 wpm
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
