About The Position

Savio is hiring family therapists to provide Multisystemic Therapy (MST) in the Alamosa, CO area. MST is a scientifically proven treatment model that targets youth aged 12-17 exhibiting delinquent behaviors. Therapists work closely with parents and caregivers, conducting therapy in families' homes and the community to prevent out-of-home placement or incarceration, break cycles of system involvement, and empower families to create lasting change. This role offers a flexible and autonomous work schedule, a dynamic team environment, and free supervision towards licensure. New graduates are welcome.

Requirements

• Master's in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
• Bachelors with extensive experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
• DORA registration to provide therapy (e.g., LPCC, MFTC, SWC).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a small, intensive caseload of 5-6 families.
• Conduct therapy in the community and in family homes.
• Utilize theories such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Modification, and Structural and Strategic Family Therapies.
• Prevent out-of-home placement/incarceration.
• Break the cycle of system involvement.
• Empower families to create lasting change.
• Engage primary caregivers and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment.
• Meet weekly for group supervision and expert consultation.
