About The Position

The Children’s Center Utah is seeking a full time Family Therapist to provide comprehensive mental health services to very young children and their families including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and Family and Individual Child Therapy. Clientele includes children with severe emotional and behavioral problems, early childhood trauma, and children with developmental delays and their families. Clinical experience with toddlers and preschool aged children and experience with evidence-based trauma treatments is preferred, but we will provide all needed training for applicants interested in serving young children. Extensive professional training and supervision is provided. This position will train in West Valley City but will be located in the Lehi office when our new facility opens in July.

Requirements

• Utah licensure as a CSW/LCSW, AMHC/CMHC, or AMFT/LMFT
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, set priorities for assignments, meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Ability to provide clinical supervision
• Experience supervising staff
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Clinical experience with children birth to age six and their families
• Experience using evidence-based interventions for childhood trauma
