About The Position

Visiting Angels offers non-medical in-home care for elder loved ones. The purpose of a Visiting Angels Caregiver is to provide assistance with daily activities, light housekeeping, errands, and meal management. Caregivers also provide protective oversight for vulnerable clients, assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, and most importantly, companionship. The goal is to help clients continue to live and age safely in their homes. Full and part-time shifts are available in the Alamosa, CO area. Visiting Angels works with applicants to create a set schedule that fits their lifestyle and client needs.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must have personal reliable transportation
• Must have up-to-date Auto Insurance
• Must have a Smart Phone
• Must Have a Valid Driver’s License
• Comfortable with assisting or learning how to assist in Hygiene Care

Nice To Haves

• Willing to learn how to assist with Cooking, Light Housekeeping, Menu Planning, Errands and Appointments, Fall Prevention, Transfers, Companionship and Assisting with all Activities of Daily Living.
