Requirements

  • Current Arizona state CNA or LNA license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while taking appropriate action.
  • EKG Interpretation required within 90 days of hire.
  • Arizona CNA license or LNA license required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic patient care activities as delegated including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
  • Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and eating.
  • Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Assists with keeping patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
  • Performs clerical duties, aligned with nursing station activities.
