About The Position
Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center providing a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region. It is the home base for Flight For Life Colorado and features four trauma rooms, including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7. The hospital received Magnet designation in 2023 and holds numerous other awards and accreditations from organizations like the American Heart Association, Chest Pain Center, American College of Cardiology, The Joint Commission, Emergency Nurses Association, NAPBC, and American College of Radiology. St. Anthony Hospital combines expert care with the latest technology and innovation, offering a fast-paced environment in areas such as trauma, cardiology, stroke, neurosciences, breast imaging, cancer/oncology care, and surgery. The 3rd Floor Surgical Unit is a new 16-bed Med Surg unit specializing in post-operative care for general elective surgical cases, suitable for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and teamwork, and offers growth pathways for staff interested in Critical Care, Emergency medicine, and the OR.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- High School diploma or GED required
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
- State registered CNA license required
Nice To Haves
- Six months previous CNA experience preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds
Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.
