About The Position
This position involves providing and documenting patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment. The role requires participation as a team member to ensure appropriate resources for all customers. Candidates must be proficient in speaking and reading English to perform essential functions. The position also requires knowledge of standard office equipment and personal computer software skills, including MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, and e-mail. Proficiency in Windows computer skills, such as keyboarding, mouse usage, selecting items, using drop-down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, and copying, is required upon employment or within the first two weeks. The CNA will also perform other assigned duties and adhere to Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards, upholding the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure
- Minimum Experience: 0 - 6 months related
- Required Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Required Certification: American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider
- Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
- Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail).
- Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.
