The Humane League (THL) is a global nonprofit working to end the abuse of animals raised for food. Recognized as a Top Charity by Animal Charity Evaluators for multiple years running, we are regarded as one of the most effective animal protection organizations in the world. We are a high-impact, mission-driven team that uses our time, talent, and resources strategically to dismantle factory farming and create lasting change for farmed animals worldwide. We set bold goals, embrace continuous improvement, and hold ourselves accountable to the animals who depend on us. As a fully remote organization with 100+ staff across the globe, we collaborate across borders and with partner organizations to build a powerful, united movement for animals. As the Multimedia Video Editor, you will play a central role in bringing our campaigns and mission to life through compelling video content. Sitting within THL Studios, you will be working closely with the Senior Video Strategist & Editor to execute high-quality video content that supports global campaigns, digital engagement, and movement-building efforts. This position is primarily focused on post-production editing, and creative ideation, with responsibility for execution of day-to-day editing of campaign-driven video and basic animation content across formats. You will partner with stakeholders across departments to translate campaign goals into effective visual narratives, contributing to creative ideation, developing mock-ups, and delivering fast-turnaround edits and social media deliverables that maintain our visual brand standards. This role will support on set production as needed, including occasional camera operation and on-the-ground filming. Success in this role requires strong technical fluency, creative problem-solving, skilled storytelling, and the ability to independently manage projects from intake through final delivery. This role requires you to balance multiple projects at once, managing your time effectively to ensure that milestones and deadlines are met. Working closely under the guidance of the Senior Video Strategist & Editor, you will increase post-production efficiency via AI tool integration and workflow improvement, and provide critical operational support on targeted productions to advance the organization's movement-building work. This is a full-time, remote position. This position requires domestic and/or international travel, equivalent to 1 to 3 trips per year, accompanying the Senior Video Strategist & Editor as production support. This position is based in the United States. The successful candidate must be based in and authorized to work in the United States.
