About The Position

The Multimedia Specialist will serve as the organization's primary photographer and videographer, responsible for creating high-quality photo and video content for various marketing, recruitment, and outreach initiatives. This role involves planning, capturing, editing, and producing multimedia content for diverse platforms including print, digital, social media, website, advertising, and internal communications. The specialist will also contribute to social media content creation, graphic design, and project management within a collaborative marketing team environment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
  • Experience operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting, audio, and video production equipment.
  • Strong understanding of photography composition, lighting, exposure, and visual storytelling.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital content trends.
  • Strong storytelling, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Digital Media, Photography, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of professional photography and videography experience preferred.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating photography, videography, editing, and multimedia storytelling.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects.
  • Experience creating Reels, short-form video, or other social-first content.
  • Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts.
  • Drone pilot certification (FAA Part 107).
  • Motion graphics experience.
  • Healthcare marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the organization's primary photographer and videographer for marketing, recruitment, physician outreach, community engagement, and organizational initiatives.
  • Plan, capture, edit, and produce high-quality photography and video content for use across print, digital, social media, website, advertising, and internal communications.
  • Photograph physicians, employees, patients, facilities, events, community activities, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Create short-form and long-form video content for recruitment campaigns, service line marketing, patient stories, employee spotlights, social media, and organizational events.
  • Conduct and assist with physician, employee, patient, and community interviews.
  • Edit and produce multimedia content using industry-standard editing software.
  • Maintain and organize the organization's digital photo and video library.
  • Manage and maintain photography, lighting, audio, and video equipment.
  • Assist with creating and developing engaging content for the organization's social media platforms.
  • Capture photo and video content specifically designed for social media, including Reels and other short-form content.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify stories, events, people, and initiatives that can be developed into engaging digital content.
  • Assist with social media content planning, scheduling, and publishing as responsibilities evolve.
  • Stay current on social media trends and emerging content formats.
  • Assist with monitoring social media performance and identifying opportunities to improve engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop cohesive marketing campaigns and visual storytelling initiatives.
  • Provide photography and multimedia support for service line marketing, physician marketing, recruitment, community outreach, and organizational campaigns.
  • Create graphics, titles, overlays, and other visual elements that enhance multimedia projects.
  • Provide basic graphic design support as departmental priorities require.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
