The Multimedia Designer specialist requires a diverse skill set to produce high definition photorealistic and photo-accurate media to be used in simulation and/or emulation scenarios. Supports analysis and development of ISD deliverables using the instructional system design (ISD) process. Assists with Proposal efforts. Completes all work within the constraints of a time sensitive schedule and budget. Work with Subject Matter Experts, Instructional System Designer Specialists, and Web Developers to produce training materials for Computer Aided Training (CAIs) and Classroom Led Instruction (IBTs). Builds high definition 2D graphics and supports interactive 2D and 3D media assets. Creates/edits Videos and audio using various software applications. Creates CD/DVDs of photo or media as required Researches audio video equipment and software applications and provide recommendations to manager. Researches and selects the appropriate tools to be used on a particular project based on the project’s requirements and availability of resources. Conducts internal quality checks (IQCs) on all courseware deliverables to meet established department standards Researches and recommends solutions by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchased commercial off the shelf products. Creates templates and documentation that can be used by other designers and developers to rapidly create additional interactive training scenarios as required.
